Welcome to the School

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

I am so happy to be your teacher. There is so much I want to share with you. I love watching you grow and learn. You are the reason I wake up in the morning and come to work. I thank you for the smiles, hugs, and laughter you bring me each day.

It is important to know, I am not always perfect. There are times I may have bad days and have made mistakes too. However, every day is a new

beginning, and it is okay to make mistakes as long as you learn from them.

Lastly, I want you to never forget, I am always here

for you, and I love you.

What I Specialize in

I am a dedicated and caring special educator with over 14 years teaching experience. I have a masters degree in Special Education from Florida

International University. I foster a love for learning through an environment where each student is recognized for his or her ability. I believe all students can achieve success and I want learning to be fun and meaningful in order to promote intellectual curiosity. I currently teach all subjects at an elementary school level, religion, and other skills

that help to empower our student population. It is of great satisfaction to witness the growth of each student and be a part of their life.

• I graduated from Florida State with my Bachelors in Science in Mass Media Production.
• I am a practicing Catholic
• I am an aggregate of Saint Joseph Benedict Cottolengo where I am trying to follow his charism and teachings.
• I speak Spanish
• My mother is from Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.
